As you can see I have taken a lot of landscape photos. I have learned a lot since I purchased my DSLR camera a year and a half ago. I got it so I could shoot amazing HD video and have since dived into both worlds. I really want to learn how to do better portraits photos as I hope to be able to light actors in a film.

Rex, I really like your two images with stars in them. It is very difficult to show stars and the senery at the same time. My other favorite is the girl silouette jumping at the beach. Great job with the cutouts. They were pretty challenging I bet. What is so awesome about photography is that your shots will only get better with experience and I can tell you have alot of it.
I have to echo what stokescomp mentioned, I loved the images of the dancer at the beach and the night time shots. Actually, I have to wonder about the dunes image, is that a combination of daylight and night sky in HDR? That’s what I like about it, the lower half of the image seems to suggest it’s daytime while the sky still shows the stars. You mentioned you want to do portraits, I would love to see some of those once you do it.

The photo with the signs and the dunes is lit by a partial full moon. It was a very bright night with a partial full moon and this image was a bit of an accident. I was trying to take some star shots on the beach when we got back to our car I pointed the camera back at the signs and got this great image.
These are some really great pictures. I especially like landscape and scenery and think that you capture it really well. One of the things that I like the most are the vivid colors. The almost jump out at you. Your first picture with the stars and house looks incredible. I like the light coming out of the house and also from over the hill. It must have been hard to capture the light from the house and the stars at the same time! The cut out images looked great as well, the edges look really good.
Rex your images are amazing. I really like your photos with the stars. I really would like to capture photos like that someday. You did great with the color in the photo of the girl jumping with the ocean behind her, so beautiful. I like how you were able to capture the dramatic sky’s in the last two photos of your past photos. Your composition of the first “past” photo is great and your lead room in the photos that you took with people is also great. Great job!
